The Crucible

The BSA Creative Content Lab

Your Vision Deserves More Than a Template.

You have already put thought, work, and part of yourself into building your business. Its website and creative materials should feel equally considered.

That is why we begin with questions rather than assumptions. We take the time to understand where you are, what you need, and what you want the finished project to accomplish.

  • Creative services selected around your actual needs
  • A clear strategy behind the visual decisions
  • Thoughtful attention given to every detail
  • Guidance and communication throughout the project
  • A finished result that feels like your business—not everyone else’s
  • Work that both of us can feel proud to put our names behind

More Than a Collection of Services

A successful website or project is not created by simply checking features off a list. The structure, content, visuals, and functionality must work together to support the goals of the business.

These packages combine the essential pieces into clear starting points. Each may be refined to create a project that is visually distinctive, strategically considered, and practical to use.

Built Around the Project

Not Defined by the Package

These packages are designed to make the possibilities and starting investment easier to understand. They are not one-size-fits-all templates. Services may be added, removed, or combined to create a proposal that reflects what your business actually needs.

Starting prices assume that the client provides organized content and responds within agreed project schedule. Final pricing depends on page count, content readiness, functionality, creative requirements, and the condition of any existing website.

Additional Project Services

If you have a project that doesn’t involve a website, we got you! We don’t have those outlined here because we like to taylor those to the individual project.

We provide FREE consultations to discuss your project in it’s entirety so we can form a transparent proposal tailored to your needs and goals.  Drop us a line HERE and we will get the conversation started!

The Process

From First Idea to Final Form

A strong finished result begins long before the first page is designed. The Crucible Process creates room to understand your business, establish a clear direction, develop the work, and refine every detail before it is released into the world.

You will be guided through each stage, with clear expectations and opportunities to review the work, share feedback, and understand what comes next.

The Four R's

Reveal

We begin by learning about your business, your audience, and what you want the project to accomplish. We examine the materials you already have, identify what is working, and uncover what the finished project truly needs.

This stage may include:

  • Initial consultation
  • Project questionnaire
  • Review of existing materials
  • Discussion of goals and priorities
  • Confirmation of scope, price, and timeline

Refine

What we uncover is organized into a practical creative direction. We determine the project structure, establish the visual approach, and decide how the content and design should work together.

This stage may include:

  • Website structure or page planning
  • Content organization
  • Visual direction
  • Feature and functionality planning
  • Collection of final project materials

Render

The project moves into design and development. Each page, image, and element is shaped with close attention to appearance, communication, usability, and the overall experience.

This stage may include:

  • Design and development
  • Content and image placement
  • Mobile-responsive formatting
  • Client review
  • Consolidated revisions
  • Final refinements

Release

After the project has been reviewed and approved, every element receives a final check. The completed work is then prepared for launch, publication, or delivery.

This stage may include:

  • Final quality review
  • Mobile and browser testing
  • Link and form testing
  • Checkout testing when applicable
  • Final approval
  • Launch or delivery
  • Basic handoff guidance

We guide you through the decisions, explain the reasoning behind the work, and refine the details with you. The goal is not simply to hand over a finished product. It is to create an outcome that represents your business well. It’s something you are proud to call yours and that we are equally proud to say we created.

Why Choose Black Swan Alchemist?

Work Worth Standing Behind

We believe the quality of our work reflects who we are. That belief shapes how carefully we listen, how deeply we consider the possibilities, and how much attention we give to the finished details.

Our responsibility is not simply to complete the requested task. It is to understand what the project needs, guide you through the decisions, and create an outcome that serves your business well.

Creative Thinking

We do not rely on the most familiar solution simply because it is easy. We consider what will make the work feel connected to your business.

Practical Strategy

Creative decisions are supported by clear reasoning. The finished work must communicate effectively and help accomplish a defined goal.

Careful Craftsmanship

Every element is reviewed as part of the whole. We refine the work until the details feel cohesive and complete.

Shared Pride in the Result

The goal is to create something you are proud to call yours and that we are proud to say we created.

Recent Work

A Few Words from the Client

When we first started working with Britt, all we knew was that we wanted a website. We had no plan, photos, or written content. She came out to the farm, learned about what we do, and took it from there.

Britt designed the entire site and created all the content, including farm and product photography, original hand-drawn illustrations and animations, and photos and video of our live music event. She interviewed us so we could talk naturally about the farm, then turned those conversations into the writing for the site.

We taught her about our farm, and she figured out how to tell our story. We’re very happy with the result and would definitely recommend Britt and Black Swan Alchemist.
